Transfer stickers are made by cutting out your design from a solid-colored vinyl sheet—there’s no printing involved. The background is removed, leaving only the text or graphic in your chosen shape. If you want a sticker with more than one color but still no background, check out our Multi-Color Transfer Stickers.
Each transfer sticker has three parts: the paper backing, the vinyl design itself, and a layer of clear transfer tape on top. The transfer tape holds your design together so you can apply it exactly where you want in one easy step.
To apply your transfer sticker, peel off the white paper backing to expose the adhesive. Position your sticker using the clear transfer tape and press it onto your surface. If you see air bubbles, gently smooth them out from the center to the edges. For more help, visit our Application Instructions Page or watch the video below.

Dark colors, bold text, simple graphics, and vintage-inspired designs usually work best. Because the material is brown, light colors may appear muted or may not show strong contrast.
Yes. Kraft paper stickers are a popular option for product labels, especially for candles, soaps, jars, bags, boxes, coffee packaging, bakery items, and handmade goods.
No. Colors may look warmer or more muted on kraft paper because the brown background affects the final printed appearance. If bright, highly accurate colors are important, white vinyl stickers may be a better option.
